Ownership allows comparison of holdings across different portfolios at specific user-defined dates and comparison of owners across different stocks at specific user-defined dates.
The Peer Holding Analysis tool allows users to view a single portfolio�s holdings, compare holdings across multiple peer portfolios, as well as view unique and common holdings across portfolios. Change the view to compare share change, market value, % weighting, and % market value among peer portfolios.
To access this tool, select one or more portfolios from the Ownership-Portfolio database and choose Peer Holding Analysis from the Action menu>View Holdings. The second column (first portfolio) is the subject portfolio and is the baseline portfolio for comparison. Use the Edit Peers button to change the subject portfolio and to edit the peer portfolios used in the comparison.
The Peer Owner Analysis tool allows users to view owners of a particular stock, displays all owners of a target stock as well as those of peer group stocks, and shows unique and common owners of particular stocks.
To access this tool, select one or more stocks from the Ownership-Security database and choose Peer Owner Analysis from the Action menu>View Owners. The second column (first stock) is the subject stock used for comparison. Use the Edit Peers button to change the subject stock and to edit the peer stocks used in the comparison.
Hedge fund firm ownership portfolios are collected from 13F filings of the SEC.
