The Premium/Discount chart reveals trends in premiums and discounts, providing an up-to-date picture of a fund or separate account's selling status. A negative number indicates that the fund's shares sold at a discount to NAV; a positive number indicates the shares sold at a premium. A maximum of 10 items can be graphed.
A Premium/Discount chart can be created from the Research, Portfolio Management, or Workspace tabs.
To create a Premium/Discount chart:
In the left navigation pane, click the Research, Portfolio Management, or Workspace tab.
Drill down until you get to the list of investments.
Under Research, select the Universe category, then the universe to open the associated investments. (Refer to the Chart Availability Matrix for specific universes where this chart is available.)
Under Workspace, go to Investment Lists, My Lists to open the associated investments.
Under Portfolio Management, go to the Securities in Accounts page to view the list of investments.
Select from up to 10 items.
From the Action menu, point to Charts, and click Premium/Discount. The chart appears, with the first security graphed. Click a radio button to show the data for a different security.
Point to any bar on the chart to view the annual average premium/discount figure for that time period.
Tips: The highest and lowest premium/discount amounts are highlighted in the chart in green and red.
